I’m Em. I am an intentional + intimate wedding/couples + lifestyle photographer residing in Tulsa, Oklahoma. I am extremely passionate about what I do, and have been ever since I first picked up a camera at 14. It has been my goal over the past 10 years to turn what lights my soul on fire into my career. I am a hopeless romantic at heart, being able to capture raw love in action is like a high for me. I laugh way too loud at stupid things, and will most definitely shake ass with you at your shoot or on the dance floor of your wedding reception. When I’m not shooting or editing I enjoy morning and evening walks, journaling, spending time with my people, pushing my limits at the gym, giving my two handsome kitties , Kuzco + Kahlo, all the cuddles and love, and learning how to slow down and enjoy life even in it’s most simplistic forms. Saying all that I am also someone who also loves a fast paced spontaneous lifestyle as well and I am getting better at finding the balance between both. I love romanticizing my life, all the good, the bad, and the ugly. Call me crazy but it’s a freeing feeling being the main character of your own story and not shying away from the things you love and enjoying getting to know yourself even if it’s hard sometimes! I am someone who loves making human connection and relationships, there is something so fascinating about the human connection and how beautiful it is getting to view life through someone else’s eyes. And I love so much that I get to connect with you guys and the seasons you’re living in and be a part of it with you! I absolutely love music and if you see me outside of shooting there’s a 90% chance that I have my AirPods in, they’re a part of me at this point, they even made their way into my ID photo!! I love incorporating my love for music into my sessions as well, so if I ask you what you’d like to hear, don’t be shy!;) I love creating more than anything, it is my safe space and when I feel the most like my true self. I appreciate you and your support of my work and this crazy journey, it’s been a wild one, and I am falling more in love with it every year.
